From a New Member: Why joining London Corinthians is one of the best things I’ve done this year

August 15, 2012

London Corinthians near Victoria Station is a place to learn, listen, lead, leverage support, be lifted and LAUGH! Quite frankly, joining the club is one of the best things I’ve done this year. Why, you may ask? Well, I’m so glad you did! Here’s my top 10 list but there’s even more good reasons…

  1. You’ll meet a welcoming, diverse and fascinating bunch of people with fascinating ideas to share!
  2. You’ll get plenty of positive, genuine and constructive feedback on how to improve.
  3. You’ll be challenged in a safe environment with little consequence.
  4. You’ll become aware of timing and how precious it is!
  5. You’ll follow a tried and tested approach to leadership and communication YET have the space to develop your individuality & let your true personality shine through!
  6. You’ll refine your written skills in speech writing and learn lots of techniques to make the process more efficient.
  7. You’ll start to learn about what you’re communicating when you’re not speaking… body language, eye contact, smiles, laugher etc.
  8. You’ll hear speeches that inspire you, teach you, spark a new interest in you, make you cry, make you laugh, make you want to be a better communicator!
  9. You’ll test your communication style/s and techniques without any real consequence. (You can’t loose your job and you don’t risk being off the promotion ladder if you get it wrong! We only laugh WITH you and at you if your intention is to make us laugh!)
  10. You’ll have so much fun!

So come along and try for yourself. Tell us if this description is accurate. Attend as a guest as often as you like and of course if you do agree we’d love you join us!

Adell
