Persistence: The Key to Success in Public Speaking

January 18, 2013
Persistence: the key to success in public speaking.

Sometimes the road to success can seem a long one

An old Chinese Proverb says that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step”. A proverb I have heard used many times at Toastmasters and is relevant since we have all taken that step to attend our first Toastmasters Meeting

I want to share with you a Steven Proverb, that “A Journey is only worthwhile, if you face Road Blocks”, because if you don’t face challenges, a journey is just a leisurely walk in the park.

At Toastmasters we start off, already with certain speaking skills, but its how you accept and work on the area’s that need development  that help you stand out from the crowd.

Toastmasters is a safe environment to try something new, you will never fail challenging yourself at London Corinthians. So give it a go, and make a difference to your public speaking.
